Before & After: Inspiration for the Vintage Bathroom Redux

Remember this bathroom we showed you yesterday?

For these homeowners the first step in their renovation process was gathering inspiration. Every renovation starts with an idea. A little seed that is planted in your mind. You think “Wouldn’t it be great if we replaced our dated Formica countertop with granite?” Then that idea grows roots and it becomes, “Well we would need a new tile backsplash to really make that granite pop . . .” Then before you know it, you have a full-blown wildflower garden of ideas and you’re raring to start your renovation.

Before these homeowners came to our showroom, they spent some time gathering photos from the web and various magazines that represented their own personal style and needs. They knew they wanted a hip, vintage vibe with white marble countertops and white subway tile throughout. With that seed of an idea, they searched the following resources for inspiration:
